Come join us as we celebrate all things Scottish at the Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville, Ontario. Considered one of the largest Highland Games Festivals in the world, you are in for a day of non-stop fun and entertainment.
We will start our day by exploring the Scottish Vendors Village, where we can shop for kilts, tartans, Celtic jewelry, and other unique souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious lunch on your own from one of the festival food vendors, offering traditional Scottish fare like haggis, meat pies, fish & chips, and sweet treats. Dont forget to visit the Clan Tents to learn about Scottish ancestry, heritage, and historic family connections.
The afternoon will be exciting as we watch the Heavy Events, including the famous Caber Toss, Hammer Throw, and Stone Put, where athletes display their incredible strength and skill. These events are followed by the iconic Pipe Band Championships, featuring elite musicians competing for top honours in an electrifying showcase of skill and tradition.
Our incredible day will finish with the grand finale Parade of Massed Bands, an awe-inspiring moment as hundreds of pipers and drummers march together to close out the days festivities.
