We’ll start the tour at A Gathering Place by the Grand where we’ll enjoy a performance of The Music of Elvis while delighting in an included lunch buffet.

 

On the second day we’ll take in a performance by the fabulous, Blazing Fiddles before we depart on a leisurely lunch cruise along the Grand River! Relish in a full-course meal served to your window table.  During the cruise, your captain will give informative commentary, and you can sit out on the promenade deck to enjoy the river scenery.

 

We’ll finish the tour by taking in the best of what St. Jacobs has to offer! We’ll visit the Mennonite Museum and take a wagon tour of the Mennonite Countryside. You’ll have time experience the market and then we’re off to the wonderful St. Jacobs Village where you’ll have more time to explore this quaint town!

We have four convenient locations available to board the bus during this getaway. Please make sure to arrive at your pick up location roughly 10-15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

For this getaway, the included meals at Olde School Restaurant, Speekezzies Cafe & Wine Bar, and Grand River Cruise must be selected at the time of booking. Grand River Cruise:

Choose one from the list of entrees and dessert. This meal includes Home-baked bread, Garden Salad with choice of Dressing, Potatoes and Vegetables with Entrée. Coffee, Tea or Soft Drink included.

Speekezzies Cafe & Wine Bar:

1. Chicken Breast Supreme (Oven roasted, accompanying a Fettucini pasta, in a White Wine Alfredo cream sauce with a sauteed Mushroom Blend)
2. Spaghettini Primivera (With assorted Grilled Vegetables, tossed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic and splash of White Wine)
3. Bacon-Wrapped Beef Tenderloin (Topped with a Demi-Reduction and your choice of Garlic or Horseradish Mash Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables)
4. Anna's hand-rolled Ricotta Cheese Gnocchi (With Baby Spinach and Crisp Pancetta in a Gorgonzola cream)

 

Buffet Breakfast at the Holiday Inn:

The hot breakfast buffet includes fresh fruit, cinnamon buns, eggs, breakfast meats, yogurts, cereals, breads, muffins, bagels, coffee, juices, fresh pancakes

 

Mandarin Buffet:

The Mandarin buffet offers an all-you-can-eat dining experience with over 100 dishes on its buffet tables, serving a mix of Chinese, Canadian, sushi, and roast beef options, alongside a large selection of soups, salads, and desserts.

 

Guided Wagon Tour of Mennonite Country:

*In the event of rain or unfavourable weather, a step-on guide for a countryside bus tour instead.
