We'll depart from Belleville at 9:30am, travelling east through scenic countryside as we make our way toward Ottawa's historic ByWard Market. Here, you'll have time to enjoy lunch on your own, surrounded by the vibrant shops, cafés, and artisans that make the district so iconic.
After lunch, we continue to Fairmont's Le Château Montebello, arriving around 3:00 p.m. Take time to unwind and breathe in the crisp fall air - perhaps with a refreshing swim in the heated indoor pool, a cozy fireside chat, or even s'mores by the bonfire as the sun sets behind the colourful treeline. This evening, we gather for our welcome dinner included at the hotel, where fine cuisine and warm hospitality set the tone for an enchanting autumn retreat.

After a delicious included breakfast, join us for an optional guided excursion to Parc Omega - a spectacular experience made even more magical in peak fall foliage. This 12-kilometre wildlife park becomes a painter's palette in October, with forests glowing in deep reds and golds. Travel through lakes, meadows, and woodlands as you encounter moose, elk, wolves, bears, bison, and more from the comfort of a guided coach - a true Canadian safari framed by incredible autumn scenery.
Prefer a day of rest? Stay at the resort and enjoy its many offerings. Wander the beautiful riverside grounds under a canopy of fall leaves, cozy up by the fire with a warm drink, relax in the heated indoor pool, or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment. Dinner this evening is on your own - explore the resort's dining venues or enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by autumn beauty.

Start your day with another sumptuous included breakfast before choosing your perfect way to spend this autumn day. Our optional excursion takes you to the peaceful Monastery of the Virgin Mary the Consolatory. Here, the nuns craft exquisite cheeses, breads, and artisanal foods using traditional recipes. Sample their creations, learn about their serene way of life, and browse their wonderful gift shop for treats to bring home.
If leisure is more your style, stay at the resort and savour a quiet fall day at your own pace. Perhaps enjoy a walk through the vibrant autumn trails, relax by the fire with a book, or treat yourself to a spa experience. As the cool evening settles in, we reunite for a special farewell dinner at the hotel, celebrating our final night together in the warmth and beauty of Montebello in fall.

After enjoying our included breakfast, we check out of the resort at 10:30 a.m. and begin our leisurely journey home. The drive is especially beautiful this time of year, with rolling hills and colourful forests lining our route. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery as we travel toward Morrisburg, where a delicious included buffet lunch awaits you at the McIntosh Inn.
Following lunch, we continue toward Belleville carrying with us warm memories of a luxurious and rejuvenating autumn getaway at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello.
