Some airlines allow Collette to assign seats, but not all. For those airlines that do, Collette will take requests (aisle, middle, window). These requests are never guaranteed, and can be changed by the airline at any time.
IATA (International Air Transport Association) mandate 830d requires Collette to ask if travelers give permission for us to relay their email and/or mobile number to the airline. Additionally, this will help assist with contact tracing on the flights.
There are many factors that go into booking group air. Collette uses all major carriers, contracting the best schedule for each tour. Airlines have full control on types of seats, location of seats, and schedules. Group air seating is often determined by the airline and guests may not be able to access their file to choose their own seats. Advance seating is subject to the airline's terms and conditions and there is a chance you might not know your seats until check in. Collette works closely with each airline to fulfil group needs within their contracts. If you are interested in upgrading from economy seating, please note that you may be on a different schedule from the group and will be responsible for additional fees. Please contact us prior to final payment if you would like to upgrade your airfare. The sooner Collette is advised of any upgrade request the better chance we have to obtain the upgrades at a reasonable cost.
