This global sensation takes you into the centre of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town of Gander, Newfoundland that welcomed them during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. At first, cultures clash and nerves run high, but tension turns into trust, gratitude, and ultimately friendship. Written by Tony-nominated Canadians Irene Sankoff and David Hein, this homegrown story shows the indomitable human spirit.

We have five convenient locations available to board the bus during this getaway. Please make sure to arrive at your pick up location roughly 10-15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Lunch at The Beamish House:

This day trip includes lunch before the performance at The Beamish House in Port Hope. Each meal will be served with coffee, tea, water, or a soft drink. Meals must be preselected at the time of booking. If you have any allergies or dietary concerns, please let us know in the passenger information section during checkout.

We'll begin our day with a 9:30am departure from Gananoque making brief stops along the way in Kingston, Napanee, Belleville, and Cobourg. With everyone onboard, we'll continue onward to The Beamish House in Port Hope. A comfort stop will not be made along the way this morning.

12:00 pm

We'll arrive at The Beamish House around 12:00pm for our included lunch. Following lunch, we'll make our way over to the Cameco Capitol Arts Centre across the street from the Beamish House. The doors to the theatre open at 1:30pm

1:30 pm

Following lunch, we'll make our way over to the Cameco Capitol Arts Centre across the street from the Beamish House. The doors to the theatre open at 1:30pm.

2:00 pm

The show begins. The performance runtime is roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes with no intermission

4:00 pm

Following the show, we'll make our way back to the bus and depart for home. A comfort stop will not be made along the way home.

6:30 pm

Our anticipated arrival back in Gananoque after dropping off the other passengers along the way.
