This summer we will be touring two of the best destinations in the city for nature lovers; Casa Loma and the Toronto Botanical Gardens. Our first stop will be to the Gothic Revival style mansion with timeless elegance built in 1914. Casa Loma is home to breathtaking gardens; spend your Thursday afternoon viewing the beautiful colours on this estate and exploring the majestic castle.
Next, you will find a magical oasis of green beauty located in the heart of the city. The Toronto Botanical Gardens are an array of 17 award-winning themed gardens spanning nearly four acres. Prepare to be inspired among the green beauty that ranks among Toronto’s finest natural attractions.

We have three convenient locations available to board the bus during this getaway. Please make sure to arrive at your pick up location roughly 10-15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

OUTDOOR EVENT: Please be prepared for all weather conditions and bring appropriate clothing and materials. Example: rain gear, umbrella, sun hat, sunscreen, etc. McCoy Getaways will be unable to provide refunds for any unforeseen weather event(s).
7:30 am
We'll begin our day with a 7:30am departure from Kingston. Along the way we'll make brief stops in Napanee and Belleville to pick up the other passengers in our group. Once everyone is on board, we will make our way to Toronto! There will be a comfort stop along the way.
11:00 am
Our first stop will be to one of Toronto's famous landmarks; Casa Loma. We will arrive around 11:00am and spend two hours exploring the grounds. With three levels of elaborately decorated rooms, permanent exhibitions and special exhibits featuring early Canadian history and extensive gardens, there's plenty to see! The gardens and grounds of Casa Loma are an attraction in themselves, with five acres of formal borders, walled gardens, and other botanical delights.
1:00 pm
At 1:00pm we will head to the Shops at Don Mills. Located 5 min. away from the Toronto Botanical Gardens, it is the perfect place to have lunch on our own. There are plenty of food options including Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Jack Astors, an Italian restaurant and more!
3:00 pm
We will then explore the Toronto Botanical Gardens from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Our tour will include a guided walk through the beautiful themed gardens and a stroll into the beloved Edward Gardens. You'll learn about the history of these gardens and the beautiful selection of plants, pollinators, and ecological aspects.
Afterwards, we will have time to explore the grounds on our own and shop at the Farmer's Market located in the gardens. You will find fresh local produce, artisanal products and unique food items from farmers and small businesses in the Greater Toronto Area. The Toronto Botanical Gardens is a non-profit horticultural organization and their main goal is to help people, plants, and nature come together.
5:00 pm
After a full day in Toronto, we will make our way back home. There will be a comfort stop along the way: dinner will be on your own tonight.
8:30 pm
After dropping off passengers in Belleville, and Napanee, our anticipated arrival back in Kingston is 8:30pm.
