Day 1

Today is a travel day for us as we make our way to beautiful Quebec. There will be comfort stops along the way.

Our trip begins in the city of Levis as we check into our hotel around 3:00pm.

For those who would like to explore Quebec City, our motorcoach will drive us to Old Quebec around 4:00pm to shop and enjoy dinner on your own. Whether you have been to Quebec City a thousand times or this is your first visit, it is well worth it. When strolling the city streets, you often have to remind yourself that you are in Canada and not in Europe. We will head back to our hotel at 7:30pm to have a relaxing night before our big travel day tomorrow.

Day 2

After our included breakfast at our hotel in Quebec, we will board our motorcoach and make our way to Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Along the way, we will have lunch on our own and meet our East Coast tour guide in Edmundston, NB.

We will arrive in Fredericton, NB around 3:00pm to check into The Crowne Plaza. At 4:00pm we will head out and enjoy our included welcome dinner; a Maritime Interactive Kitchen Party! There is no better way to spend our first night on the East Coast. We know Maritimers love to party and that usually happens in the kitchen. This is a housewarming party celebrated with traditional music and with a delicious spread of food.

Afterward, we will head back to our historic hotel. Downtown Fredericton can be easily explored on foot, take some time to see the town after dinner or feel free to relax at our hotel for the rest of the evening.

B, D

Day 3

After our included breakfast this morning, we will leave the city of Fredericton and drive across the Confederation Bridge to PEI. As we make our way to Charlottetown, we will have lunch on our own at the Lone Oak Brewpub at 12:30pm.

After our delicious meal, we will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the historic district of Charlottetown. This seaside city is a historical hub of culture, festivals and events, artisan shops, world-class restaurants and so much more. From red-brick historic buildings to pastel waterfront houses, art galleries to gourmet restaurants - Charlottetown might be the capital of Canada's Prince Edward Island, but with a population of just 35,000, it still has the friendly feel of a small town.

Late afternoon, our motorcoach will take us to The Rodd Royalty to check in and get settled. Once we have spent some time checking out our new home for the next 2 nights, we will head out for dinner on our own. After your meal, grab a nightcap and check out some of Charlottetown's amazing entertainment!

The rest of the evening is yours to relax.

Day 4

After our included breakfast this morning, we will enjoy a Charlottetown city highlights tour with our guide. At 10:00am we will depart Charlottetown for Souris where we will enjoy our included lobster lunch at the Fiddling Fisherman. We will also have time to explore the East Point Lighthouse and the Souris Beach Gateway Park. While visiting The East Point Lighthouse, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view where the mighty tides of the St. Lawerence and Northumberland Strait meet, or browse through crafts and gifts at East Point Craft Shop, which is just next door.

Afterwards, we will head to St. Peters Bay. St. Peter's Landing features a variety of shops - from Island Artisan Artwork in many forms including pottery and scenic shoreline paintings to coastal gifts & home décor. Their offerings include locally produced chocolate, a fresh seafood market, and scrumptious Island made ice cream. With a beautiful view of the Bay, and friendly merchants, the St. Peter's Landing offers travelers and locals alike a great Island shopping experience.

At 3:45pm we will drive back to Charlottetown for the evening. Dinner will be on your own tonight.

B, L

Day 5

Our breakfast is included this morning at our hotel in Charlottetown. At 9:00am we will head to Park Corner and visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum.

The Anne of Green Gables Museum located in Park Corner was built in 1872 by the Author's Aunt Annie and Uncle John Campbell. Some of the artifacts you'll see in the Museum are Anne's Enchanted bookcase, the organ on which her wedding march was played, Crazy Patchwork Quilt, the Blue Chest from The Story Girl, and many artifacts that the Author wrote about.

We will then make our way to Cavendish where we will enjoy the shops in Avonlea Village. With 10 eateries and 6 shops on site, Avonlea Village offers something for every palate and every shopper. Avonlea Village offers replications of houses and shops from the time of Anne of Green Gables. You are sure to fall in love with this quaint little village just like Anne Shirley did in Anne of Green Gables!

We will then spend some time at Cavendish Beach; renowned for its miles of unspoiled beachfront, sandstone cliffs, and barrier islands, Cavendish Beach is where lasting vacation memories are made.

Our next stop will be to PEI Preserve Company for our included lunch in New Glasgow. Built on old-fashioned values of quality, hospitality, and service, the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company has been welcoming guests for over 35 years. Nestled on the banks of the River Clyde, in the picturesque village of New Glasgow. They are the preservers of fruit, tradition, and memories!

The rest of our day will include a tour of North Rustico, a lobster trap demonstration on Harbour Dock, and a self-guided tour of the Green Gables Heritage Place. The house known as "Green Gables" is an original farmhouse that belonged to the MacNeil family, cousins of author Lucy Maud Montgomery. Montgomery used this MacNeill farmstead as the inspiration for the setting of her novel Anne of Green Gables. She named the home "Green Gables" and imagined it as the home of her characters, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who become Anne's adoptive parents in the story.

After our busy day, we will make our way to Summerside for the evening where we will be staying at the Day's Inn by Wyndham. Known as the City by the Sea, Summerside is the second-largest city on the island and is filled with culinary, cultural, and coastal experiences like no other. Here you'll discover the energy of the island's Celtic roots and so much more.

Dinner will be on your own tonight.

B, L

Day 6

After our included breakfast we will depart our Summerside hotel for Cape Egmont. On the way, we will stop for a quick photo opportunity at the Mount Carmel Church.

Once we arrive in Cape Egmont, our first stop will be to visit the Bottle House. The Bottle House consists of three fantasy-like buildings made up of approximately 25,000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes. Surrounded by beautiful flower gardens, it is a haven for nature lovers, recyclers, and photographers.

Next, we will take a short drive to Island Traditions; home of the Prince Edward Island's Basket Weavers.

Discover the ancient art of ash splint basket weaving and watch as professional basket weavers transform an ash tree into timeless and stunning baskets with hand-carved handles and hoops. Stay to view many other unique island crafts and curiosities created by over 40 local accomplished artisans.

We will then depart for Spinnaker's Landing in Summerside. This waterfront marketplace is a must-see for everyone. Designed to resemble a fishing village, there is something special for everyone. There are unique shops and artisanal studios that offer one-of-a-kind souvenirs including clothing, antiques, jewelry, local art, and giftware. Lunch is on your own today at one of the many restaurants located at Spinnaker's Landing. Don't forget to save some room for some ice cream or homemade donuts!

We will say good bye to our local guide before heading back to New Brunswick. At 4pm we will arrive in Hopewell Cape for our guided visit of Hopewell Rocks. We will enjoy a guided tour showcasing the world's highest tides. For thousands of years, the massive tides of the Bay of Fundy have been patiently sculpting their masterpiece in Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick.

After our very busy day, we will check into the Rodd Moncton for the night. Our dinner will be included this evening in Moncton, NB.

B, D

Day 7

Breakfast is included this morning at our hotel. Once we check out at 8:00am we will make our way to Quebec. We will be checking into our Levis hotel around 5:00pm; afterward, feel free to join us as we head to Quebec City. Sitting on the St. Lawrence River, this historical city offers cobblestone streets lined with bistros and boutiques. After dinner on your own, we will head back to our hotel for the rest of the night.

Day 8

Our breakfast is included this morning at our hotel in Quebec. After we check out at 8:00am, we are home-bound!
