We will then experience a self guided tour as we walk to the base of the lighthouse (there are about 40 steps to get to the base of the lighthouse; the lighthouse itself is about 200 spiral steps). If you would like to stay at the base, it is a great spot for pictures and they also have a gift shop that we can check out while we are visiting.
