Our journey begins with a guided scenic cruise through the Saguenay Fjord, the only intracontinental fjord in the world, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and pristine waters. The next day, we set out on a guided whale-watching excursion in Baie-Saint-Catherine, one of the world’s best spots to see whales up close. Watch for belugas, humpbacks, and even blue whales as they glide through the rich waters of the St. Lawrence.

 

After our nautical adventures, unwind at Le Manoir Richelieu’s indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and spa, or take a peaceful stroll along its scenic walking trails. In the evening, try your luck at the Casino de Charlevoix, located next to the resort, where you can enjoy the thrill of gaming, live entertainment, and delicious dining options.

 

Before heading home, we’ll stop in Petit Champlain, Quebec City’s most charming district with quaint shops and riverside cafes for a bite of lunch and shopping on your own. We will stop on our way home for a delicious included buffet dinner at the McIntosh Inn.

Included Meals:

For this getaway, your lunch on the Whale Watching Boat Tour and dinner at Restaurant L’Orchidee must be selected at the time of booking. Please make sure to tell us of any dietary restrictions in the Special Needs field when entering your passenger information during checkout.

 

A three course Welcome Dinner at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu will be served in the Saint-Laurent Restaurant. During checkout, please indicate whether you would like the 6:30 pm seating or the 7:00 pm seating. Please note that we will do our best to accommodate your preference, and we will be honouring reservations based on when we receive them. Your Tour Escort will notify you of your seating time before you arrive at the Fairmont Le Richelieu.

 

Breakfasts at Le Bellerive Restaurant:

Breakfast is served daily in Le Bellerive Restaurant from 7:00 am – 11:00 am. You will order a la carte from the menu and your choices include a full English breakfast, Le Manoir’s legendary crepes, Eggs Benedict, and a healthy breakfast of granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and a smoothie.

 

Welcome Dinner at the Saint-Laurent Restaurant:

Starter: Beetroot Mix, Snow Goat Mousse, Roasted Sunflower Seeds

 

Main Course: Grilled Chicken Breast, Florentine Parmesan Sauce, Broccoli Mousseline, and Seasonal Vegetables

 

Dessert: The Manoir’s Sugar Pie

 

Whale Watching Boat Tour Boxed Lunch:

Your lunch box comes with Spring Water, Rigatoni Salad with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Feta, Quebec Cheese Curds and Chocolate Chip Cookies.

This lunch will be a choice of Barbeque Beef Tenderloin or Chicken Breast served family style with a variety of Salads, Potatoes, Seasonal Roasted Vegetables and Bootleggers' signature Backfire Sauce.

 

Dinner at Restaurant L'Orchidee:

This 3-course meal includes an appetizer, main dish, and dessert.

 

Appetizer:

2. Liver Pate, Onion Confit and Croutons

Entrée:

1. Crispy Chicken Breast, Linguine with Basil Pesto, Neapolitan Sauce

Dessert:

The dessert will be a Dessert of the Day selected by the chef.

 

Buffet Dinner at the McIntosh Inn:

This dinner will include a buffet of the following items: Salad Bar, Vegetable Platter, Cheese and Cracker Platter, Mixed Vegetables, Mashed Potatoes, Scalloped Potatoes, Jalapeno Shrimp, Perogies, BBQ Ribs, Turkey, Dressing, Honey Garlic Meatballs and a Dessert Table. All non-alcoholic beverages are included.
