Boston - Holiday Markets

Day 1

We'll begin our day with a 6:00am departure from the Quinte Mall in Belleville. We'll make brief stops along the way to pick up passengers boarding in Napanee, Kingston, and Gananoque.

Once everyone is on board, we will begin our journey to Boston! There will be comfort stops along the way including the duty free and lunch on your own.

We expect to arrive at the Aloft Hotel by Marriott in Boston's Seaport District around 5:00pm. After we check into our hotel and get settled, you are more than welcome to enjoy the rest of the night at your leisure or join us as our McCoy Deluxe Motor Coach takes us to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. In this area you will find the world-famous Quincy Market, the largest and oldest food hall in the country! There are several shops and restaurants to check out as you enjoy your first night in Boston and don't forget to take a picture in front of the city's tallest Christmas Tree decorated with thousands of lights. After spending a nice evening in this area of Boston, our motorcoach will shuttle us back to our hotel where we will enjoy the rest of the night on our own.

Day 2

Breakfast is on your own each morning; there are several food options right outside of your hotel. Please refer to the Detailed Overview tab to check out some of our recommended breakfast spots.

At 9:00am our McCoy Deluxe Motor Coach will arrive at the Aloft Hotel and take us on a fully guided tour of Boston with a local guide. You will spend the next 4 hours getting to know the city's famous landmarks including the historical Freedom Trail, the first public botanical garden in America; the world's oldest ship that is still afloat (Old Ironsides) and much more.

Once our tour is over, we will head to Boston Common in downtown Boston; lunch is on your own today. The oldest park in America has plenty to offer, even in December! Founded in 1634, this park is home to The Boston Common Frog Pond and is great for ice skating in the winter. In the same area you will find the Downtown Holiday Market. As you explore this market you will find a variety of vendors with a fantastic gift selection for friends and family. While you are exploring this area of the city, make sure to visit the 'Tree for Boston.' Every year, Nova Scotia sends the City of Boston a Christmas tree to thank them for the help they provided after the Halifax Explosion in World War 1.

At 4:00pm our McCoy Deluxe Motor Coach will pick us up and take us to the Seaport Neighborhood for the rest of the day. Take this opportunity to spend some time exploring the 5th annual Snowport Winter Village. The holiday market is growing in size each year with more vendors, food options and activations all season long. Shop for gifts for family and friends in this winter wonderland. There will be over 100 small merchants selling unique art, jewelry, home goods, clothing and other crafts. Light up your holiday season as you enjoy this European-style Winter Holiday Market. Dinner is on your own this evening.

After a jam-packed day, our motor coach will bring us back to our hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to relax on your own.

Day 3

The festivities are not over yet…

Today there will be an optional excursion to Boston's Back Bay neighborhood for some shopping and exploring. Our motor coach will pick us up at our hotel at 10:00am and take us to the Prudential Center which is located minutes away from Boston's famous Newbury Street. Known for great shopping, excellent dining, and stunning Victorian brownstones, you will not be disappointed. Lunch will be on your own today.

At 2:00pm we will head back to our hotel to drop off our goodies and pick up the rest of our group.

We will then head to SoWa Winter Festival and Holiday Market at 3:00pm. We will spend some time shopping and enjoying dinner on our own tonight at the market. At 6:30pm our motor coach will pick us up and take us to see the Holiday Pops at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Your evening with the Boston Pops begins at 7:30pm; get ready to experience a show that is much more than a concert!

Enter a world of magic with beautiful decorations to evoke all the magic and charm of the season. Performing festive favourites from cultural traditions around the world, Keith Lockhart and James Burton, along with the Pops, will get you in the holiday spirit quicker than you can sing "Fa la la la la."

After the show, our motor coach will pick us up and take us back to the Seaport District for the rest of the evening.

Day 4

Enjoy your last morning in Boston at your leisure.

Our McCoy Deluxe Motor Coach will pick us up at our hotel at 9:00am and we will begin our journey home. There will be comfort stops and lunch on your own along the way. Once we get to the border, we will stop at the Duty Free for any last minute purchases before we arrive home.
