Join us at the 1930’s vintage movie theatre in downtown Port Hope while we enjoy the American Horror Comedy, Little Shop of Horrors. The wild and witty musical is timeless with a bloody murder and a genuine, heartfelt romance.
Originally written in 1960 and directed by Roger Corman, Little Shop of Horrors is a cult classic horror movie that is sure to make you laugh! You can’t go wrong with this sci-fi smash about a man-eating plant.
Seymour, a hapless florist, is looking for love on Skid Row and he finds it in the beautiful Audrey—but she fails to notice him. At the same time, he has managed to grow a strange new plant, lovingly named Audrey II, which eventually helps capture her attention and that of his whole community. But Audrey II has some pretty particular eating habits, setting Seymour on a course that will change his life and the whole of Skid Row.
This Motown-infused musical is sure to make you laugh—and fear the words “Feed Me!”

We'll begin our day with a 9:30am departure from the Toys R Us in Kingston. As we make our way to the Cameco Capitol Arts Centre in Port Hope. Along the way, we'll make a couple of quick stops in Napanee and Belleville to pick up the other passengers in our group.
11:30am
Our first stop will be at The Beamish House for our included lunch around 11:30am. Located in the historic downtown district of Port Hope, this gastropub is known for its friendly atmosphere and delicious meals.
L1:00pm
After we have eaten, we will head to The Cameco Capitol Arts Centre to see Little Shop of Horrors on stage. Built at the beginning of the Great Depression in a rural community, the theatre is known as a rare architectural gem. The centre, inspired by Hollywood, marks the "beginning of an era" in Canada's entertainment history.

The show will begin promptly at 2:00pm. The total runtime including the intermission is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
4:30pm
After the play has ended, please make your way to the bus to begin our journey home.
6:15pm
Our anticipated arrival back in Kingston after dropping off the other passengers in Belleville and Napanee.
