Located along the Conestoga River, the quaint village of St. Jacobs is known for its Mennonite heritage. Don't be surprised to see traditional horses and buggies on the local roads. We will enjoy time meandering the charming variety of downtown shops as well as the largest year-round farmers market in Canada. An abundance of meats, cheeses, fresh produce, baked goods, crafters, and artisans provide something for everyone. No trip to St. Jacobs would be complete without a visit to Picard Peanuts, the many flavours and varieties are all produced by the Picard family. Be sure to bring along your cooler today to take many treasures back home.

Napanee - Flying J Travel Centre - 7:30 AM
Belleville - Quinte Mall (by East Side Mario's) - 8:00 AM
Trenton - 401/Wooler Rd. Carpool Lot - 8:15 AM

We'll depart from the Toys R Us parking lot in Kingston and begin our journey east. Along the way, we'll make quick stops in Napanee, Belleville, and Trenton to pick up other members of our group. A comfort stop will also be made along. We should arrive at the St. Jacobs Market around noon with lots of time to shop and enjoy lunch (on your own).
2:30 PM
At 2:30, we'll depart from the market and make our way to the downtown shops. After shopping there for an hour or so, we'll head to Picards Peanuts.
4:15 PM
Following a full day of shopping and exploring, we'll conclude our day with a delicious Mennonite dinner (included) at Bonnie Lou's Restaurant.
