Twain recorded the best-selling album ever made by a woman and is the best-selling female artist in country music history. Don't be stupid! Get your tickets now and join us at Bluesfest to see one of the most influential artists of the 1990s and early 2000s perform. We will arrive at Lebreton Flats at 4:30pm; doors open at 5:00pm. The full lineup for Bluesfest will be announced in the new year. Enjoy your evening listening to boot stompin' music and having dinner on your own at Bluesfest. Shania Twain headlines the show and will take the stage around 9:00pm.

Where does the concert take place?

The concert takes place at LeBreton Flats in Ottawa. It is an outdoor venue in a large park area.

 

Where are my seats for the concert?

The venue does not have traditional seating like at an arena or theatre. Your General Admission ticket permits entry into the festival grounds. You can setup lawn chairs or stand wherever you wish to within the concert area.

 

What can I bring into the festival with me?

RBC Bluesfest is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all festival patrons, performers, staff and volunteers. In order to expedite wait times at gates, we encourage everyone to bring only what is essential, and ideally only what will fit on your person. Bag checks significantly increase wait times at gates.

 

The following items are permitted:

 

• Cell phones

• Food, small meals (please bring your food in small plastic bags or containers - no glass containers of any kind will be permitted)

• Sealed or empty reusable water bottles (we have filling stations!)

• Small backpacks, bags, and purses. Small = no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Bags specifically required for medical purposes will be allowed - ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED!

• Blankets and beach towels, sunscreen, hoodies or rain ponchos

• Personal cameras without removable lenses.

• Medication in its original packaging. Prescription medication must match the name of the person bringing it into the festival

• Narcan spray (no needles). First aid and security personnel are equipped with naloxone and trained in administering it safely. Report any usage of naloxone immediately to first aid so the patient can receive further medical assessment.

• Small collapsible lawn chairs, small handheld umbrellas

• Registered service animals who are supporting a person with a disability and trained to do so.

 

Will there be food and drinks available for purchase at the festival?

Yes - the venue is licensed to sell alcohol. There will also be food and beverage trucks available to purchase refreshments during the festival.

 

Can I bring a camera with me?

Only accredited media photographers can bring professional equipment into the festival. Professional = any camera with a detachable lens. If your lens can be removed from your camera, it is considered professional.

 

Please do not bring:

• Video Cameras

• SLRs/DSLRs

• Tripods

• Drones

• GoPros

• Selfie Sticks

 

Small handheld cameras WITHOUT a detachable lens and cell phones are permitted.

 

Can I leave things on the bus?

Yes - the driver will stay with the bus for the duration of the concert. However, once you enter the festival grounds, you will not be able to exit to grab something from the bus and then return to the festival. Please take any items you need with you when you arrive at the festival grounds.

 

What happens if it rains?

The concert goes rain or shine. Refunds will not be provided if it rains as the concert will still take place.

Notes:

• Full payment is due at time of booking for all day tours.

• Refunds are not available within 30 days of travel.

• For the comfort of fellow travellers, kindly refrain from using scented products.

• If you have any food allergies we should be aware, please let us know during the time of booking.

• Tipping for Tour Director and Coach Driver is voluntary depending on quality of service.

• If Shania Twain is unable to perform, refunds will not be provided as your ticket will still provide entry into Ottawa Bluesfest.

• The bus will wait up to a maximum of 15 minutes past the schedule departure time after the show ends unless you have contacted the Tour Director.
