Richmond Raceway, known as “The Action Track”, is
a ¾ mile D-shaped short track that races like a
superspeedway. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to
check out America’s Premier Short Track at the end of July
2023. You will be hooked once the checkered flag falls!
Our seats are in Commonwealth, Section E
& F, Rows 39 and up.
Pick Up Locations & Times:
Belleville - Quinte Mall (between East Mario's & Tesla Stations) - 4:30am
Napanee - Flying J Travel Centre - 5:00am
Kingston - McCoy Getaways Office - 5:30am
Gananoque - Carpool Lot by the Casino - 6:00am
Rain Out Policy
Should the Cup Race be delayed for rain or any other reason, we will remain at the race until it restarts. If the Cup Race is postponed to the following day we will be staying for the race then departing for home immediately after the race has ended.
Example: If the Sunday afternoon race is delayed for 2 hours due to rain, we will stay until the race is finished. If the race is cancelled on Sunday and rescheduled for Monday afternoon, we will stay for the race then depart immediately after. If the race is delayed more than the following day, we will not stay. There are no refunds or credits for unseen events.
Day 1 - Travel Day
We are off to the races!
We will have pit stops along the way and make a quick stop at the Duty Free. Around 12:30pm we will stop for lunch on your own.
Once we arrive in Midlothian, Virginia around 6:00pm we will check into the Best Western Plus Governor's Inn; our home base for the next 3 nights.
The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure! There are some restaurants by the hotel including an Olive Garden, an Applebee's Grill + Bar and a Papa Johns Pizza where you can have dinner on your own.
Day 2 - Truck Series
After our included breakfast at the hotel this morning, we will head to Richmond Raceway. We will arrive at America's Premier Short Track to begin our afternoon and evening filled with the qualifying session and the Truck Series! Lunch and dinner are on your own today.
We will head back to the hotel in the late evening once the festivities are over. The rest of the night is yours to spend at your leisure.
Day 3 - NASCAR Cup
Today is the big day at "The Action Track"! After our included breakfast, we will head to Richmond Raceway for day 2 of NASCAR in Richmond, Virginia. Lunch and dinner are on your own today.
The Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. At 3:00pm, you have one place to be - in the grand stands!
We will be heading back to our hotel once the racing is over. Enjoy the rest of the evening on your own.
Day 4 - Travel Day
Breakfast is included this morning. We will be checking out of the hotel and heading home at 8:00am.
There will be pit stops along the way. Lunch + dinner are on your own today.
We will make a brief stop at the Duty Free while we are at the border and then continue our journey home.
