Join us for a four-day literary journey into the real-life inspiration behind Louise Penny’s beloved Three Pines as we travel through charming villages, rolling countryside, and storybook landscapes that bring Gamache’s world vividly to life.

We begin with a classic Québec sugar shack experience, the perfect warm and cozy welcome to the region. From there, we travel through gorgeous fall scenery to the welcoming Manoir des Sables in Orford, our home for the next three nights. Nestled among forests, lakes, and sweeping mountain views, this elegant resort offers comfort, serenity, and a truly enchanting backdrop. This evening, enjoy a welcome three-course dinner at the hotel—a wonderful opportunity to relax, settle in, and get acquainted with your fellow travellers.

The heart of our getaway is a two-day immersive Three Pines experience, guided by expert local hosts personally endorsed by Louise Penny. Explore the real places that inspired the beloved landmarks of the series: Saint Thomas Church with its stained glass windows, Myrna’s Bookstore, the village green, the Abbey that inspired Saint-Gilbert-Entre-Les Loups, cozy cafés, and the extraordinary Haskell Free Library & Opera House, famously straddling the Canadian-American border. With insider stories, local history, and breathtaking fall vistas, the world of Armand Gamache unfolds around you.

On our final evening, we gather once more at Manoir des Sables for a farewell three-course dinner, celebrating new friendships and favourite moments while reflecting on the characters and stories that brought us together.

Our adventure concludes with a visit to Old Montréal, where you’ll have free time to wander the historic Old Port, enjoy lunch on your own, browse boutiques, and soak in the timeless European ambiance of this iconic district.
